Cancelable Fingerprint Template Generation Device and Method using Fingerprint Shell

Disclosed is a method of generating a fingerprint template. The method of generating the fingerprint template comprises the steps of: (a) receiving singular points and minutias extracted from an input fingerprint image or a video; (b) calculating a distance from any one of the singular points to the minutias, respectively with respect to one singular point among the singular points; (c) sequentially generating right-angled triangles sequentially by using singular points with respect to secret keys set for generating the fingerprint template generation; and (d) generating the fingerprint template by extracting coordinate values corresponding to the height of each of the generated right-angled triangles.
