The present invention relates to a water distress rescue request device and to a system thereof. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the water distress rescue request device comprises: a housing capable of waterproof; an operation unit consisting of one area of the housing, and capable of being coupled to or separated from the housing; a switch mounted in the housing and determining whether to be turned on or off in accordance with whether the operation unit and the housing are coupled to or separated from each other; and a control unit mounted in the housing and generating a rescue request signal as the switch is turned on. The operation unit includes a magnet, and the switch can operate by detecting a magnetic field of the magnet.
