The present invention relates to a neutron counting apparatus, and more specifically, to the neutron counting apparatus applied to a neutron detector having double sensitivity. The neutron detector based neutron counting apparatus with the double sensitivity according to one preferred embodiment of the present invention comprises: a low concentration coefficient module connected to output terminals of a plurality of low sensitivity detectors; a high concentration coefficient module connected to output terminals of a plurality of high sensitivity detectors; and a controller selectively operating the low concentration coefficient module and the high concentration coefficient module according to the concentration of boron in cooling water according to a core cycle. The present invention can improve accuracy of boron concentration measurement using the neutron detector with the double sensitivity.
