The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for hierarchically providing a context-aware service based on real-time user behavior analysis, autonomously collecting, by a smart device, information required for a context-aware service, and configuring the service autonomously. The device according to the present invention includes: a fast context-aware engine which receives user data to infer the situation and provides a primary response context-aware service; and an advanced context-aware engine which provides a secondary response context-aware service by using the situation information inferred by the fast context-aware engine and machine learning prediction data. The fast context-aware engine reconfigures the resources of the smart device to match the service.
