Disclosed are a method and a device for synchronizing a 5G relay system in a standalone (SA) network. An embodiment of the present invention provides the method and the device for synchronizing a 5G relay system in a SA network to enable a 5G service in a continuous 5G SA network structure at minimum cost with only software upgrade on hardware of a 5G non-standalone (NSA) relay station since a demodulation type synchronization device mounted in a 5G relay station receives a base station signal of a 5G NR. The device comprises: a PBCH demodulation unit; a SIBI demodulation unit; a DCI demodulation unit; and a 5G NR TDD switching unit.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
