The present invention relates to a system for preventing a sleeping child in a school bus, which allows a driver of a school bus to induce passengers to get off the bus after the final operation is finished, and to give a consciousness about the same. The system for preventing a sleeping child in a school bus comprises: an alert unit which, when the starting of the school bus is off, operates after a preset first time has passed; a motion sensor which detects passengers in the school bus by operating when the starting of the school bus is off, and outputs a detection signal for operating the alert unit when a passenger is detected; an alert delay switch installed on a rear seat side of the school bus, stopping the operation of the alert unit which operates after the first time has passed if pressed when the starting of the school bus is off, and stopping the operation of the motion sensor for a preset second time; and a switch for blocking the alert unit and the starting, which blocks the connection among the alert unit, the motion sensor, the engine starting key switch, and the power supply to stop the operation of the alert unit, the motion sensor, and the engine starting key switch of the school bus when turned off, and connects the power supply when turned on.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
