The present invention relates to a biomarker for predicting development of hereditary ovarian cancer and a use thereof, and more specifically a marker composition for predicting development of hereditary ovarian cancer, a composition for predicting development of hereditary ovarian cancer, a kit for predicting development, and a method of providing information for predicting development of hereditary ovarian cancer. An mRNA or protein level of the biomarker gene according to the present invention is measured to predict early the occurrence of hereditary ovarian cancer accompanied with BRCA mutation.
