As an embodiment of the present invention, provided are an apparatus for predicting LED color using a neural network model in a VISUAL-MIMO environment and a method thereof. The LED color prediction apparatus comprises: an LED array identification unit for identifying the LED array area from an image obtained in the VISUAL-MIMO environment; an LED area detection unit for detecting the LED area in the identified LED array area; an image resizing unit for resizing the image for the detected LED area; a neural network learning unit for performing the learning by applying a neural network model to the resized image; and a color prediction unit for predicting the color for the LED area based on the learning result.
