The present invention can be included in the field of diagnosis. The present invention provides hybridomas, antibodies and test devices for detecting bacteria in Campylobacter in a sample. In addition, the present invention discloses the use and methods of antibodies for detecting bacteria in Campylobacter. The antibody of the present invention is specific for DNA-binding protein (DNA) derived from starvation cells, and is used in immunochromatographic testing devices compared to other antibodies used to detect bacteria in Campylobacter. When used, it provides a low false positive rate and high sensitivity.
