Disclosed are a method for detecting a missing member through analysis of a connection site of a 3D model of an offshore structure and an apparatus thereof. According to an embodiment of the present invention, the apparatus for detecting a missing member in a 3D model of an offshore structure comprises: a model visualization unit for visualizing a 3D model; a continuity confirming unit to confirm the continuity of the visualized 3D model; a missing determination unit that determines a peripheral member of any short-circuit member having a discontinuity point and determines if a different short-circuit member is present when a discontinuity occurs as a result of the continuity check; and a missing display unit for displaying a missing fact between the arbitrary short-circuit member and the different short-circuit member.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
