SDN TCP SDN METHOD OF ESTABLISHING TCP SESSION FOR SDN-BASED NETWORK AND SDN NETWORK THEREOF

The present invention relates to a method for generating a TCP session for a software defined networking (SDN) network which efficiently defends synchronization (SYN) flooding attacks and an SDN network applying the same. According to one embodiment of the present invention, a method for allowing a host and a server to generate a TCP session through the SDN network comprises the following steps of, by the SDN network: when receiving a first SYN packet from the host, waiting until a second SYN packet is received; when the second SYN packet is received, transmitting the second SYN packet to the server; receiving an SYN+ACK packet in response to the second SYN packet to transmit the SYN+ACK packet to the host; and when an ACK packet is received from the host in response to the SYN+ACK packet, transmitting the ACK packet to the server to generate the TCP session.
