Local delivery of anti-neoplastic particles in combination with systemic delivery of immunotherapeutics for the treatment of cancer

Disclosed is a combination therapy method useful for therapeutic treatment of cancer by combining topical administration of a composition containing anti-neoplastic particles, such as taxane particles, with systemic administration of a composition containing an immunotherapeutic agent. The methods of topical administration include topical application, pulmonary administration, intratumoral injection, intraperitoneal injection, and intra-cystic injection.
