The present invention relates to a welding deformation prevention apparatus for an underframe base panel for a railway vehicle and, more specifically, to a welding deformation prevention apparatus for an underframe base panel for a railway vehicle which prevents welding heat of a lower portion from being transferred to an upper portion to improve quality. The welding deformation prevention apparatus for an underframe base panel for a railway vehicle comprises: a chamber formed in a rectangular box shape of which the upper surface is opened to play a role of storing cooling water sprayed to the underframe to drop, and provided with a drain line formed on a bottom portion thereof to discharge used cooling water; and a cooling means formed on the chamber to include a cooling water moving pipe and a plurality of cooling nozzles formed on the cooling water moving pipe to cool welding heat generated when welding a lower structure on the underframe.
