The present invention relates to a double suction type fan which is used for an air conditioner. The double suction type fan comprises: a first ring and a second ring which are installed after being spaced apart by a predetermined distance while being in parallel with each other; a middle plate which is installed between the first ring and the second ring, and has a shaft hole disposed at the center; a plurality of first blades which are installed between the first ring and the middle plate; a plurality of second blades which are installed between the second ring and the middle plate; and a first rotary hub and a second rotary hub which are installed at both side surfaces of the middle plate, wherein the first rotary hub and the second rotary hub are individually formed by a plurality of hub plates which are vertically installed at the middle plate around the shaft hole, the plurality of hub plates have a smooth shape without a protruding part on the outer surface, and when the middle plate is rotated, air introduced through the first ring and the second ring can be evenly distributed in the longitudinal direction of the plurality of first blades and the plurality of second blades. Therefore, the air can be prevented from being focused on the central portion.
