According to an aspect to the present invention, disclosed is a method for automatically generating a design associated with an online shopping mall. The method of the present invention comprises the steps of: preparing a canvas grid for inserting at least one image associated with a shopping mall, wherein the canvas grid refers to a grid structure on a canvas, which is a space into which the image is inserted; and generating a final design by inserting the image and a text interworking with the image into the prepared canvas grid. The step of preparing the canvas grid includes the steps of: generating a plurality of reference lines for multi-dividing a canvas region at the golden ratio based on the Fibonacci sequence, on the canvas grid in horizontal and vertical directions; and generating points for determining an arrangement of the image on at least some of contact points formed by the generated reference lines.
