The present invention relates to a bending and shaping device for an AL battery case, and more specifically, to a bending and shaping device for an AL battery case of an electric vehicle, which is characterized by forming a compression groove at an aluminum plate material after compressing the same by means of a press or forming a bending line at a bending unit in order to bend the aluminum plate material in a perpendicular manner. To this end, the bending device, which bends an aluminum plate material of an AL battery case of an electric vehicle at a predetermined angle, comprises: a frame (10) which supports a press (20); a punch (30) which has a cylinder (31) in a cylindrical shape to be vertically moved after being fastened to the press (20), a curved surface unit (33) which is connected to the cylinder and forms a compression groove (35) at the distal end portions of both sides of a bending unit of an aluminum plate material (60) when the press (20) is lowered, and a guide shaft (32) which is extended towards the distal end portion of the curved surface unit (33); and upper and lower end guides (12, 14) which guide the moving direction of the punch. Therefore, the compression groove (35) is formed at the distal end portions of the both sides of the bending unit of the aluminum plate material (60). Consequently, the present invention relates to a method for vertically bending a battery case for an electric vehicle, which can form a bending line and a compression groove at the aluminum plate material by a press method. Accordingly, the bending unit of the aluminum plate material can be easily bent in a perpendicular manner, and time required for fabrication is shortened to 1/10 compared to that of prior art.
