An object of the present invention is to provide a urethral stenosis treatment agent and a urethral stenosis treatment method capable of preventing restenosis with a low-invasive transurethral endoscopic procedure in urethral stenosis treatment. The present invention provides a urethral stenosis treatment agent comprising at least a hydrogel-forming polymer and having a storage modulus at 10°C of 50 Pa or less and a storage modulus at 37°C of 100 Pa or more. The present invention is also characterized in that it comprises at least the operation of injecting the urethral stenosis treatment by cooling to a temperature of 10° C. or lower and injecting it into the inner surface of the urethra at a temperature above room temperature. It provides a method for treating urethral stenosis.
