Black β-spodumene glass ceramic with optimized color package

摘要

Black β-spodumene glass ceramics are provided. Glass ceramics include β-spodumene as the main crystal phase and ganite as the sub-crystalline phase. The glass ceramic is characterized by color coordinates of L*: 20.0 to 40.0, a*: -1.0 to 0.5, and b*: -5.0 to 1.0. Glass ceramics can be ion exchanged. A method for producing glass ceramic is also provided.
