The present invention relates to a method for detecting an R-wave peak using periodicity of an ECG signal, and more specifically, to detect expected R-wave peaks from an ECG signal, and to calculate a parallax between the detected predicted R-wave peaks, rather than a critical parallax. The present invention relates to a method for detecting an R-wave peak using periodicity of an ECG signal that can prevent false detection of an R-wave peak in an abnormal ECG signal by outputting only large expected R-wave peaks as an actual R-wave peak.
