The present invention makes it a subject to provide a polymerizable liquid crystal composition having excellent solubility and a method for producing the same, and an optical anisotropic film, an optical film, a polarizing plate, and an image display device used for formation of an optically anisotropic film having excellent durability. The polymerizable liquid crystal composition of the present invention comprises a polymerizable liquid crystal compound P1 represented by the following formula (1), a polymerizable liquid crystal compound P2 represented by the following formula (2), and a polymerizable liquid crystal compound P3 represented by the following formula (3). It is a polymerizable liquid crystal composition to contain. A-Ar-A... (One) A-Ar-B... (2) B-Ar-B... (3) In equations (1) and (2), A represents a predetermined side chain in which all ClogP values represent the same value, and in equations (2) and (3), B represents a predetermined side chain in which both ClogP values represent the same value. Represents a side chain. However, A and B represent a side chain in which the ClogP value is different from each other, the ClogP value of A is greater than the ClogP value of B, and at least one ClogP value is 3.3 or more.
