The present invention comprises the steps of forming a mixture by mixing a lithium source, a nickel source, and a manganese source with a solvent, heating the mixture to react, drying the reacted product, and first heat treatment of the dried product. A method for producing a lithium-nickel-manganese oxide positive electrode active material for a lithium secondary battery, a method for producing a positive electrode for a lithium secondary battery, and including the step of performing a second heat treatment on the resultant of the first heat treatment and allowing the Ni metal to elute in a reducing atmosphere. It relates to a lithium secondary battery. According to the present invention, a part of the Ni metal inside the particles is eluted and crystallized on the surface, thereby improving electrical conductivity, thereby having excellent rate-limiting properties.
