A METHOD AND SYSTEM TO NOTIFY USERS ACTIVITY DURING AN ONGOING COMMUNICATION SESSION

A method and system are described for notifying user (s) in communication during an ongoing communication session when a user's current activity interrupts an ongoing communication session. The method sends an information message to other user (s) in the session, including but not limited to activity information and control information. The information message describes the current activity of the user. The control information message manages the on going communication session. The method also allows the user to construct the information message. The method also permits the user to receive the information message by subscription means.
