Disclosed is a simple type wave height measurement apparatus using wave height data calculation applied with a Kalman filter algorithm transformed by a regression analysis based estimation algorithm. The simple type wave height measurement apparatus according to the present invention comprises: a wave height measurement and communication unit (1A) which is additionally installed on an upper part of a pre-installed light buoy, measures wave height, and transmits measured data to a long distance; and a power supply/sensor unit (1B) for supplying power to a system and sensing wind speed, wind direction, and wind pressure. The simple type wave height measurement apparatus obtains raw data for sea wave height measurement based on an acceleration sensor (10) and then applies the obtained raw data to the modified Kalman filter algorithm, thereby obtaining stable crest data.
