The present invention relates to a system for dewatering high moisture content sludge accumulated in an acid mine drainage purification facility. The system comprises: a pump for drawing sludge; sludge supplied from the pump; an agitating tank for agitating a flocculent to form flocs; a plurality of gunny sacks formed in the agitating tank to accommodate the flocs; and a drying unit loading the plurality of gunny sacks in a plurality of layers and dewatering the flocs in the gunny sacks by self-weight.
