The pivotal bucket conveyor 11 includes a plurality of sprockets 30, an endless chain 60 wound around the plurality of sprockets 30, and a plurality of buckets 70 rotatably mounted to the chain 60. And each of the plurality of sprockets 30 is installed at a position adjacent to each of the two sprockets, and when the chain 60 is curved and moved along the sprocket 30, the edges 71 of the adjacent buckets 70 are mutually adjacent to each other. There are two guide members 82 which respectively guide the chain 60 to avoid interference. Each guide member 82 is disposed behind the sprocket adjacent to the guide member in the advancing direction.
