The present invention relates to a molecular marker for discriminating watermelon dwarf individuals, and uses thereof. More specifically, the present invention relates to a single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker composition, a primer set and a kit for discriminating watermelon dwarf individuals, and to a method for discriminating watermelon dwarf individuals using the same. With the provision of the watermelon dwarf molecule marker according to the present invention, it is possible to immediately check the presence or absence of dwarfism by extracting DNA of young plants or seeds when developing a dwarf lineage and variety, and thereby to efficiently discriminate and cultivate watermelon varieties showing dwarfism. Therefore, the molecular marker is expected to be very useful in reducing time, cost, and effort required for breeding.
