The present invention relates to a method for suppressing pore generation of an A356 alloy through the addition of manganese. According to the present invention, when preparing an A356 alloy casting, the addition of manganese (0.1 to 0.2% by weight) reduces hydrogen solubility to suppress pore formation. Since it is impossible to block the source of hydrogen gas, the addition of manganese in the manufacture of A356 alloy castings changes the hydrogen solubility of the molten material in accordance with the content to suppress pore formation and improve the mechanical properties, surface defects, etc. of the A356 alloy castings.
