According to the present invention, an IoT-based smart power strip assembly for an aquarium comprises: an aquarium including at least two aquarium electronics among a heater, a pump, a bubble generator, and a light; a power strip including a communication unit, a plurality of outlets which are connected to the aquarium electronics to supply power to the aquarium electronics, a power conversion unit which includes a relay part for performing on/off control on power output to the outlets, and a frequency conversion part for converting the frequency of an alternating current voltage output to the outlets, and a controller which controls the driving of the power conversion unit according to a control signal for each of the aquarium electronics; and an IoT server generating the control signal and transmitting the same to the controller by the communication unit. The IoT-based smart power strip assembly for an aquarium, of the present invention as a power strip including outlets electrically connected to a plurality of aquarium electronics provided in an aquarium, generates the control signal through the IoT server to cut power supply to the outlets and converts the frequency, thereby enabling safe use of the power strip and saving electric energy.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
