The present invention relates to a steel damper for energy dissipation of middle- and low-storied buildings, which is installed across at least multiple floors of middle- and low-storied buildings to maximize the potential energy dissipation capacity of the steel damper and easily and quickly replace damaged strips. According to the present invention, the steel damper for energy dissipation of middle- and low-storied buildings comprises: a pair of H-beams vertically installed on an outer wall of a building across at least multiple floors; a plurality of unit strip arrays which include a plurality of integrally formed non-uniform strips, and are installed between the H-beams to allow the non-uniform strips to be laterally placed; and an angle steel to connect each unit strip array to the H-beams by bolt-nut coupling.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
