The present invention relates to a system for controlling the temperature of a heat transfer fluid for mid- and low-temperature power generation which can control the temperature of a heat transfer fluid by bringing a cooling unit into contact with the heat transfer fluid by lifting and lowering the cooling unit in an expansion tank. According to as aspect of the present invention, the system for controlling the temperature of a heat transfer fluid for mid- and low-temperature power generation comprises: a heat transfer fluid circulation unit to circulate a heat transfer fluid to exchange heat between the heat transfer fluid and a working fluid of a power generation system; an expansion tank to store at least a portion of the heat transfer fluid or supply the heat transfer fluid stored previously to the heat transfer fluid circulation unit in accordance with a temperature change of the heat transfer fluid to compensate for a volume change of the heat transfer fluid; a cooling unit which is installed in the expansion tank, and comes in contact with the heat transfer fluid in the expansion tank to cool the heat transfer fluid; a lifting/lowering device to lift or lower the cooling unit; and a control unit to control the position of the cooling unit to allow the cooling unit to come in contact with the heat transfer fluid in the expansion tank.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
