The present invention relates to a method of authenticating a user based on three-dimensional face recognition using a Moire technique capable of providing an authentication protocol for authenticating a user through the combination of user personal information and data extracted through a Moire technique by using multi-factor authentication technology without storing data in a server of an authentication institution. The method includes: (A) a step in which a three-dimensional face scanner device extracts first authentication information of a user by scanning the face of the user to transmit the information to an authentication server for the registration of the authentication information; (B) a step in which the authentication server creates and registers second authentication information; (C) a step in which the authentication server creates and registers third authentication information by combining the first authentication information with the second authentication information and discards the first authentication information; (D) a step in which the three-dimensional face scanner device creates the face of the user and extracts the first authentication information to transmit the information to the authentication server for user authentication; and (E) a step in which the authentication server creates third authentication information based on the received first authentication information and the registered second information, and performs user authentication by comparing the created third authentication information to the registered third authentication information. According to the method, since a user is authenticated by fusing biometric information extracted for authentication with other personal information without storing the biometric information in a server, a risk of the leakage of the biometric information can be reduced, authentication strength can be increased and security can be enhanced.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
