The present invention provides a method of intermittently sterilizing microorganisms using a 222 nm KrCl excimer lamp. More specifically, it provides a more efficient microbial sterilization method by overcoming the limitation that the sterilization efficiency was lowered due to the masking effect in high concentration of contaminated water.
