The present invention relates to a soil retaining device mounted on a soil covering device which crushes and blows soil by rotation of a rotating blade. The soil retaining device comprises: a sliding angle tube connected to a main frame angle tube extending from a main frame of the soil covering device in a slidable state; a hydraulic cylinder in which the sliding angle tube is guided by the main frame angle tube and operatively engaged with the sliding angle tube to be slid to a main frame side or the opposite side; and a soil retaining plate coupled to an end of the sliding angle tube. The soil retaining plate blocks the soil crushed and blown by the rotating blade in a state in which the sliding angle tube is slid toward the main frame side due to the contraction of the hydraulic cylinder.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
