The present invention relates to a steel material used in steel plates for automobiles or buildings. More specifically, the present invention relates to the high-manganese steel material having excellent anti-vibration properties and formability, and a method for manufacturing the same, which can be used where anti-vibration properties for noise reduction are required. The method for manufacturing the high-manganese steel material having the excellent anti-vibration properties and formability of the present invention includes the following steps of: heating a steel slab, containing equal to or less than 0.1 wt% of carbon (C), 8 to 30 wt% of manganese (Mn), equal to or less than 3.0 wt% of silicon (Si), equal to or less than 0.1 wt% of phosphorus (P), equal to or less than 0.02 wt% of sulfur (S), equal to or less than 0.1 wt% of nitrogen (N), equal to or less than 1.0 wt% (excluding 0 wt%) of titanium (Ti), equal to or less than 0.01 wt% of boron (B), and the balance Fe and other unavoidable impurities, at a temperature of 1150 to 1350 C; manufacturing a hot rolled steel sheet by finishing hot rolling the heated steel slab; and cooling the hot rolled steel sheet to 700 C or lower.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
