The present invention proposes a new model for predicting periodontitis and evaluating prognosis using salivary matrix metalloproteinase 9 (MMP-9) and interleukin 8 (IL-8), and provides a system and method therefor. According to the present invention, unlike the prior art, the proposed model is a predictive model which considers both molecular biological factors and socio-economic habit factors, behavioral factors, and obesity in saliva, and as a result of the verification, has confirmed that the diagnostic ability is excellent.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
