There is provided an artificial photosynthesis device, an artificial photosynthesis method, a water decomposition catalyst for artificial photosynthesis, and a manufacturing method thereof. The artificial photosynthesis device may generate oxygen by decomposing water with high efficiency in a neutral aqueous solution condition using a water decomposition catalyst containing stainless steel. The water decomposition catalyst used in the artificial photosynthesis device exhibits stable and excellent catalyst performance under neutral aqueous solution conditions. The water decomposition catalyst can be manufactured through simple electrochemical treatment using stainless steel, which is inexpensive and capable of mass production.
