A white light emitting device is disclosed. The white light emitting device includes a substrate, a UV LED chip mounted on the substrate, and a glass-phosphor composite disposed at a position where UV light from the UV LED chip passes. The glass-phosphor composite is made by mixing 5-30 wt% of a plurality of phosphors that make white light together with the UV LED chip and 70-95 wt% of glass frit.
