Techniques and systems are provided for processing video data and processing one or more media format files. For example, video data is obtained and processed to produce a media format file comprising video data and a constrained scheme information box associated with the video data. The constrained scheme information box includes a plurality of scheme type boxes that identify a plurality of constrained scheme types required to process video data. In another example, a media format file is obtained that includes video data and a constrained scheme information box associated with the video data. The media format file is parsed and video data can be processed according to a plurality of constrained scheme types identified by a plurality of scheme type boxes.
