The present invention relates to a composition for whitening and UV protection containing ginseng polysaccharide and green tea polysaccharide, and more specifically, it is used by mixing polysaccharide extracted from white ginseng or black ginseng prepared by processing ginseng and each polysaccharide extracted from green tea. By doing so, the present invention relates to a composition excellent in whitening effect, ultraviolet ray blocking effect and skin damage preventing effect by ultraviolet rays.
