SMYD3 Diagnosis of Systemic Lupus Erythematosus Using SMYD3 Autoantibodies

The present invention relates to a method for diagnosing systemic lupus erythematosus using an antigen protein that specifically binds SMYD3 autoantibody present in the blood of patients with systemic lupus erythematosus. Since the diagnostic method of the present invention uses a non-invasive biological sample such as blood, it is possible to diagnose systemic lupus erythematosus very easily, without burdening the patient, unlike conventional diagnostic methods. It can be useful for early diagnosis of lupus.
