The present invention relates to a method for extending an operation node in a hybrid P2P-type distributed cluster system. The method comprises: a first step of renewing metadata by adding new operation node information to the metadata; a second step of setting the state of a new operation node to a standby state; a third step of performing a load distribution operation among all operation nodes including the new operation node; a fourth step of synchronizing the renewed metadata with all the operation nodes including the new operation node; and a fifth step of resuming services for clients. According to the present invention, in a hybrid P2P-type distributed cluster system, a new operation node can be added while services for clients are maintained.
