The present invention relates to a method for managing an identity of a user using a blockchain network, a server therefor, a method for authenticating a user using a user identity based on a blockchain network, and a terminal therefor. According to the present invention, the method for authenticating a user using a user identity based on a blockchain network comprises the steps of: (a) checking whether a specific identity claim of a specific user is registered in a distributed ledger; and (b) authenticating the claim information of the specific user and allowing the specific user to sign up. According to the present invention, user identities can be easily managed.
