APPARATUS AND METHOD FOR GENERATING DELTA VOLUME BASED ON MESH OFFSET TO SUPPORT MAINTENANCE OF PARTIALLY DAMAGED PART USING 3D PRINTER, AND 3D PRINTING-BASED PART MAINTENANCE SYSTEM
The present invention relates to an apparatus and a method for generating delta volume to generate dense delta volume corresponding to a damaged region, and a 3D printing-based part maintenance system. According to one embodiment of the present invention, the delta volume generation apparatus comprises: a preprocessing unit preprocessing damaged part point group data acquired by 3D-scanning a partially damaged part to output matched damaged part point group data; a first extraction unit using the damaged part point group data and an original mesh model of an original part to extract damaged region point group data; a second extraction unit extracting a segment mesh model corresponding to the damaged portion of the partially damaged part based on the original mesh model and the damaged region point group data; and a delta volume generation unit offsetting the segment mesh model to generate an offset mesh model of the damaged region and generating delta volume corresponding to a difference between the original part and the partially damaged part based on the offset mesh model.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
