Disclosed is a real-time data collection system including an observation buoy for observing spatial suspended sediment (SS). According to the present invention, the real-time data collection system comprises: a spatial SS observation buoy having a GPS receiver, a control unit (MCU), an optical backscatter point sensor (OBS) sensor, and a communication unit installed in a data collection board of a cylindrical chamber and using at least one OBS sensor measuring the concentration of SS; a real-time data collection system of a server collecting GPS location information of the spatial SS observation buoy using at least one OBS sensor installed in each area and the concentration of the SS of a water layer measured by the OBS sensor through a mobile communication network (LET 4G/5G) in real time to provide an operation state and a SS measurement result of the observation buoy installed in each area; and a user terminal linked with a real-time data collection system of the server and having an SS observation client program. Accordingly, in ocean research, sediment transfer, and ocean environment fields, the observation buoy for measuring the SS transmits the GPS location information of the observation buoy and the concentration of the SS of the water layer measured by the OBS sensor to the real-time data collection system of the server through the mobile communication network (LET 4G/5G) in real time, such that the concentration of the SS is collected by the SS observation buoy installed in various areas in real time, thereby observing the operation state of the spatial SS observation buoy installed in each area and distribution of a spatial-vertical SS concentration.;COPYRIGHT KIPO 2020
