Methods, systems, computer readable media and devices for providing location services to an application of a Secure User Plane Location (SUPL) capable terminal (SET) are disclosed. In some embodiments, the SUPL configuration server (SUPL CS) may configure multiple secure user plane location (SUPL) location platforms (SLPs) in the first stage. Subsequently, SUPL CS may independently configure information for the application in the second stage, and configuration information for the application may include identification of a specific home SLP (H-SLP) configured in the first stage.
