The present invention relates to a remote monitoring diagnosis system and method for ship equipment capable of data transmission by a mobile device and diagnosis by a simulator, and more specifically, a remote terminal unit is located in a lower layer, such as an engine room of a ship, for communication connection. In this case, the mobile device transmits data stored in the remote terminal unit to the mobile device in a wired/wireless manner, and when the mobile device storing the data communicates with the server unit, it transmits data from the mobile device to the server unit.
