Nanomaterials with an active ingredient immobilized, such as a drug according to the present invention, in particular metal rod particles, are conjugated with a drug and nanomaterials through hydrolysable ester bonds, which are localized in the target region by near-infrared irradiation. Fever destroys tissues and cells through photothermal therapy, and the elevated temperature accelerates the hydrolysis of ester bonds, so it is effective to accelerate the release of active ingredients such as drugs for chemotherapy. Therefore, the synergistic effect of photothermal treatment and chemotherapy triggered by near infrared rays can be expected according to the present invention.
