The present invention provides a method of converting bisquineoside III and homoflavoyadorin B, which are glycosides of mistletoe extract, into non-glycosides, homoeriodicthiol and velutin, by microwave irradiation in the presence of acetic acid. The method of converting the glycosides of the mistletoe extract into non-glycosides of the present invention can be usefully used as a cosmetic composition for whitening in the field of cosmetics manufacturing due to the improved whitening effect of the non-glycosides obtained therefrom.
