The present invention relates to a method of controlling power consumed by a device placed inside a building, and more specifically, a method for consuming power in a building based on whether a person exists inside the building and the number of people existing inside the building. By controlling the operation of the device, it is possible to reduce unnecessary power consumption when no or few people exist, and power is consumed indoors according to the current environment and building usage such as the current season, current time, and current weather. The present invention relates to a power control method capable of saving power consumed by a device while maintaining the comfort of an indoor environment of a building by differently controlling the operation of the device.
