TECHNIQUES FOR MESSAGE RETRANSMISSION MECHANISM

Embodiments of the message retransmission mechanism devices, methods and systems (“MRM”) translate application requests for message journals into fast access to segmented message streams via MRM components. In one implementation, the MRM may obtain a message journal of messages recorded by applications during system operations and may divide the message obtained from the complete message journal into message segments. In some implementations, MRM may provide access to the message segments for expedited message consumption to applications being restored.
